King cake
Ingredients
- 2 round puff pastries
- 140g Fidafruit almond powder
- 100g fine sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 75g butter
- 1 bean
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 200°C.
- Place a sheet of puff pastry in a tart tin and prick it with a fork
- In a salad bowl, add the Fidafruit almond powder, fine sugar, the 2 whole eggs and butter and mix everything.
- Place the mixture in the tart tin and hide the bean inside.
- Cover with the 2nd sheet of puff pastry, sticking the edges well together.
- Make drawings of your choice on top and brush with egg yolk
- Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 200°C.
