Savory croissants with pesto and sliced almonds
Ingredients
- 1 round puff pastry
- Green pesto
- Grated mozzarella
- Fidafruit sliced almonds
- 1 egg
- Poivre
Preparation
- Cover an oven rack with baking paper and preheat your oven to 180°C
- Beat an egg in a bowl and set aside
- Unroll the puff pastry
- Spread with pesto.
- Sprinkle with grated mozzarella, but keep a little for later
- Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into 12 triangles.
- Add the flaked almonds
- Roll the triangles tightly into croissants
- Brush your croissants with beaten egg
- Sprinkle with grated mozzarella and pepper.
- Add some flaked almonds on top
- Bake for 20 to 30 minutes while monitoring
- Enjoy warm :-)
