Savory croissants with pesto and sliced almonds

Ingredients

  • 1 round puff pastry
  • Green pesto
  • Grated mozzarella
  • Fidafruit sliced almonds
  • 1 egg
  • Poivre

Preparation

  1. Cover an oven rack with baking paper and preheat your oven to 180°C
  2. Beat an egg in a bowl and set aside
  3. Unroll the puff pastry
  4. Spread with pesto.
  5. Sprinkle with grated mozzarella, but keep a little for later
  6. Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into 12 triangles.
  7. Add the flaked almonds
  8. Roll the triangles tightly into croissants
  9. Brush your croissants with beaten egg
  10. Sprinkle with grated mozzarella and pepper.
  11. Add some flaked almonds on top
  12. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes while monitoring
  13. Enjoy warm :-)
