Homemade Ferrero
Ingredients
- 1 tray of Fidafruit shelled hazelnuts
- Hazelnut spread
- Melting chocolate
Preparation
- Dry-toast the hazelnuts in a hot pan, then leave them to cool completely.
- Set aside whole hazelnuts, one per future Ferrero.
- In a food chopper, chop the remaining hazelnuts in bursts.
- Mix half the chopped hazelnuts with the spread.
- Take a spoonful of spread and place a whole hazelnut in the centre. Use two small spoons to wrap the hazelnut in spread until a ball is obtained.
- Put the bites in the freezer for about 30 minutes so that the spread firms up.
- Melt the chocolate over low heat and incorporate the remaining chopped hazelnuts.
- Finish by coating each bite in the melted chocolate and leave to set at room temperature before tasting.
