Ingredients

  • 1 tray of Fidafruit shelled hazelnuts
  • Hazelnut spread
  • Melting chocolate

Preparation

  1. Dry-toast the hazelnuts in a hot pan, then leave them to cool completely.
  2. Set aside whole hazelnuts, one per future Ferrero.
  3. In a food chopper, chop the remaining hazelnuts in bursts.
  4. Mix half the chopped hazelnuts with the spread.
  5. Take a spoonful of spread and place a whole hazelnut in the centre. Use two small spoons to wrap the hazelnut in spread until a ball is obtained.
  6. Put the bites in the freezer for about 30 minutes so that the spread firms up.
  7. Melt the chocolate over low heat and incorporate the remaining chopped hazelnuts.
  8. Finish by coating each bite in the melted chocolate and leave to set at room temperature before tasting.
